Ride with Poker Ride to a Progressive Jackpot
Poker Ride is a variation of Let it Ride Poker. The difference between the two is that Poker Ride is a progressive jackpot which means that the money players can make with the game is way more than with Let it Ride Poker.
Basics of Poker Ride
Like most poker games, Poker Ride uses a standard 52 deck, shuffled before each game. Players have to make a 5 card combination to win; the better the combination, the higher the payouts. The most basic payout level is a pair of Tens or better. 3 cards are dealt to players; 2 to the dealer.
Poker Ride - Betting Rounds
Players should become familiar with the different betting rounds (Ante, first, second, jackpot). The Ante round is after placing a wager, the cards are dealt to you. The first and second rounds are when you decide what to do with your cards (call or raise). Then players examine their cards to see if and what they have won (and if necessary they will see if they are eligible for the jackpot round). Jackpots require a Royal Flush win.
Poker Ride Wins
The best win in Poker Ride, as mentioned above, is the Royal Flush (these cards in the same suit: Ace, King, Queen, Jack and 10). It's not so common to achieve this but the payout is amazing - 1,000 times of the wager you placed. And that's without even having placed a side bet on the progressive jackpot. A Straight Flush (cards in same suit in sequence, such as: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 of spades) gets 200 times for every wager. Four of a Kind (four cards of the same suit) gives 50 times; Three and 2 of another kind (Full House) giving 12 times each wager. A Flush (5 cards in same suit) gives 9 for each wager. Straight (5 of any suit in sequence) gets 6 for each wager. Two Pairs is 2 pairs plus any other card gets $3 for each wager. Then there's a pair of 10s, Jacks, Queens, Kings or Aces and three random cards giving $2 for each wager.
So while it is pretty great to go for the progressive jackpot in Poker Ride - and that is where the real adrenalin comes in to the game - there are other possible wins in the game. In fact, because there are so many different ways of getting some money in Poker Ride, it is definitely a game worth playing!
